The Lower Columbia baseball team ran its West Region record to 13-0 following a four game sweep over Green River on Saturday and Sunday April 18th and 19th.

The series opened at Story Field, where the Devils jumped on the Gators for six runs in the first inning and six more in the third on the way to a 12-1 victory shortened to 6 1/2 innings.  Jake Bakamus had a big game, going 3 for 4 with two RBI.  Ryan Littlefield went 2-4 with three RBI's.  Michael Forgione, Garrett Myers and Tanner Marty all had two hits each.

Tanner Olson gave up just one hit and an unearned run in his four innings for the victory. Ryan Peart pitched two scoreless, hitless innings. Gabe Ihrig had a perfect final inning.

The Devils blanked Green River 8-0 in the second game Saturday. Kade Kryzsko was in cruise control, allowing just four hits in seven shutout innings. Kryzsko did not walk a batter and struck out eight.

Offensively, the Devils got RBI's from Seaver Whalen, Littlefield, Forgione and Tanner Marty. Kane Ulrich displayed bat control and team action with two RBI's without a hit.

The scene shifted to Heritage Park in Puyallup on Sunday. The first game went to LCC 8-2. Jeremy Rabauliman went five solid innings to get the victory. Joel Worden allowed just one hit in four innings of stellar relief.

The Devils rolled another six in the third inning and that was the key to the offense.  Chris Rogers went 3-5 with a triple and two RBI's.  Marty also had three hits. Littlefield had two hits and two RBI. Whalen drove in two.

The series finale went to LCC 9-1. Lorin Archibald smacked a three run homer in the 5th inning and finished the game 2-4 with five RBI's. Whalen, Bakamus, Littlefield and Marty had two hits each.

The Devils are now 13-0 in league and 25-8 overall. They are slated to play Centralia for four this weekend, two at Story Field Saturday and then two at Wheeler Field in Centralia on Sunday. Start times both days are 1 pm.
