After starting the season 0-3, the LCC Red Devils came up with a road victory at Portland to even the season record.

The Devils won thier third straight game with an 85-81 victory at Portland on Wednesday December 3rd.

Lawrence Russell led LCC with 24 points and nine rebounds. Russell came through at the free throw line where he was 10 for 12.

Keun Palu-Thompson had 16 points. Jared Roffler hit all three of his three-point attempts and finished with 12 points and seven rebounds.

Devin Johnson had 10 points and Nate Solomon hit three 3's for nine points.

The Devils shot 48 percent from the floor and were a solid 26 of 34 from the free throw line.

LCC is now 3-3 on the season as they get ready to host the four-team Kirkpatrick Family Care Regional Classic Saturday and Sunday December 6th and 7th. The action begins Saturday at 6 pm with Chemeketa taking on Bellevue at 6 pm. The Red Devils then play Wenatchee Valley at 8 pm. The losers play Sunday at 2 pm and the winners will clash at 4 pm.
