Clackamas star Jo Paine was the West Coast Conference Freshman of the Year while at Santa Clara.  She is now a star in the NWAC.

The Cougars do it all sophomore had 22 points, 13 rebounds, six assists and nine turnovers in a 71-57 victory over the Red Devils on Tuesday December 15th.

A poor shooting first half helped towards the Devils demise.  Despite Clackamas going up by 23 in the second half, LCC didn't quit and they pulled within nine in the 4th quarter.  But the Cougars bumped the lead back up and took the victory.

Freshman Mireya Villanueva got hot in the second half and led LCC in scoring with 15 points. "Spud" hit five of nine three-point attempts.

Katie Hankins had 10 points and nine rebounds for the Devils.  Bailey Hockett had seven rebounds to go with her three points.

The Devils are now 6-6 on the season as they get ready for a fun night on Saturday. The LCC Alumni team will meet the current Devils at 5 pm Saturday afternoon December 19th at Myklebust Gym.

The LCC Holiday Classic begins Monday December 28th, an eight team, 11 game affair at Myklebust Gym.
