Box Score It was a Wednesday friendly on October 7th as the Linfield JV's outlasted the Lower Columbia Red Devils 2-1.

In a close, evenly played match, the Wildcats got the deciding goal at the 70 minute mark.  Linfield took the lead at the 36 minute mark, but the Devils came back with a Haley Briggs goal just before halftime.  Irasema Alvarado set up Briggs with the assist.

Linfield had 19 shots and the Devils had 17.

Fernanda Abrego got her first start in goal as the Devils needed to get some time for the backup. Abrego made three saves. Regular starter Whitney Lopez came on in the second half and had five saves.

The Devils return to NWAC play when they host the Green River Gators Saturday at 12 pm. The match at Northlake Field begins at 12 pm.
