The Lower Columbia College women's soccer team had just 12 available players when they hosted Green River on Saturday October 10th.
In the second half, they were down to 10.
Despite the injury problems, the Devils played Green River hard but dropped a 1-0 match. The Gators scored the game's lone goal with 20 seconds left in the first half.
LCC had three good chances in the second half, but the Gators and the cross bar had other ideas.
Shannon Campbell had another great match for Lower Columbia and her goal attempt rocket with 10 minutes left clanked off the cross bar.
Whitney Lopez had 11 saves for LCC.
The loss dropped the Devils to 1-5 in the West and 3-10 overall. The big road win for Green River puts them at 2-4-1 and 2-6-2 overall.
Lower Columbia travels to Tacoma on Wednesday for a 2 pm match.
