TOUGH ROAD TRIP NORTH OF SEATTLE

The Lower Columbia women's soccer team dropped both games of a two game trip to Everett and Edmonds.  It was a rough trip as the Devils were outscored 13-0 combined.

On Friday September 5th, Everett scored early and often blitzing to a 9-0 victory. The Trojans scored in the first minute and never looked back. LCC goalkeeper Alexandria Aspinwall never had a chance to relax as she also saved 13 shots.

Saturday the Devils lost at Edmonds 4-0.  Again, the opposition caught LCC asleep early, scoring three goals in the first eight minutes.  Aspinwall also had 12 more saves Saturday.

Irasema Alvarado played well after being shifted from the front to midfield.

Head coach Harlan Cruser told The Daily News that the team needs to work on communication and defense.

The Devils are in Bremerton Tuesday September 9th for a 2:00 pm game against Olympic. The Devils return home for games Friday against Shoreline (4pm)  and Saturday versus Skagit Valley at 12 pm.
