A tall and talented Linn Benton team came to Longview and swept past the Red Devils in three sets Wednesday September 3rd.
Inconsistent serving by LCC helped the Roadrunners to a 25-16, 25-18, 28-26 victory.
The Devils had 10 service errors and could muster just two aces.
Leading the LCC attack was
Madison Studer with 11 kills and two blocks.Â
Kayla Keane had another solid match as she had 25 assists and eight digs.Â
Alexa Bond provided eight kills and seven digs.Â
Shaina Gustafson made her season debut with 19 digs.
Sierra Addicott had five kills and three digs.
The Red Devils are 1-1 on the season and travel to Clackamas to play the Cougars on Tuesday September 9th. The next home match is Wednesday September 10th against Mt. Hood. First serve at the Mark Morris Gym is 7 pm.
