The Red Devils had to shake things up due to injury, but the Green River Gators took advantage and won the league opener in Auburn 3-0 on Wednesday September 24th.

The set scores were 25-19, 25-18 and 25-23.  Green River goes to 1-0 in league while the Devils are 0-1.

Shaina Gustafson moved from her libero position to the front line and led the way with nine kills and five digs.  Injuries to Amanda Schwegler and Madison Studer kept both out of the lineup.

Shelby Bergum and Zoey Mohr had six kills each.  Kayla Keane had 26 assists for LCC.

The Devils first home league match is Friday September 26th when they host the Pierce Raiders.  Pierce opened league play with a 3-1 win over Centralia.  Friday's match is set for 7 pm at the Mark Morris Gymnasium in Longview.
