The Lower Columbia volleyball team was in a good position to extend Clackamas in a nor-division match on Tuesday September 16th. The Devils just couldn't finish.

The Cougars defeated LCC 25-18, 25-22 and 25-14.  The first two sets were very close but Clackamas turned it up a notch in the final points of each to take a 2-0 lead.  The Cougars then supplied to knockout in the third set, jumping out to a 7-1 lead and cruising to the sweep.

Madison Studer had 12 kills to the lead the Red Devil net attack.  Zoey Mohr had six kills, 14 assists and six digs.  Shelby Bergum also had six kills.  Kayla Keane had 16 assists and Shaina Gustafson had 11 digs.

The Devils head to Ontario, Oregon for the Treasure Valley tournament Friday and Saturday. LCC opens West Region play on Wednesday September 24 when they take on Gree River in Auburn. The next home match is Friday September 26th against Pierce.
