The Lower Columbia volleyball team continues to keep an eye towards West Region play as they hosted another tough non-league opponent on Wednesday September 10th. The Mt. Hood Saints came away with a 3-0 victory.
The set scored were 25-13, 25-13 and 26-24. The Devils had a 21-16 lead in that third set before the Saints rallied from behind to claim the sweep.
Madison Studer led LCC with nine kills.Â
Kayla Keane had 15 assists and 12 digs.Â
Shaina Gustafson also provided 12 digs for LCC.
The Devils travel to the Puget Sound area for three matches this weekend. The first stop is at Edmonds for a 7 pm match on Friday September 12th. On Saturday the Devils will play at Everett for a 12 pm match, then head over the Sound for a 7 pm match against the ultra-tough Olympic Rangers in Bremerton.
The next home match is Tuesday September 16th against Clackamas. The first serve is scheduled for 7 pm at the Mark Morris Gymnasium.
