It was a classic college baseball game at Story Field on Thursday April 24th.  It was not a good ending for the Red Devils.

Tacoma scored a tying run with two outs in the top of the 9th inning, then plated three in the top of the 12th to beat LCC 6-4.  The Red Devils came back with a run in the bottom of the 12th with the bases loaded, but the threat ended.

Tacoma won its 23rd straight game, but they had to earn it.

It was a wild first inning as Devil starter Tanner Olson gave up two runs.  LCC came back in the bottom of the first as Mason Dunning hit a three-run homer to give the Devils the lead. It was gooseggs for the next seven innings as Olson battled with TCC starter Joey Gamache.

The Devils were one out away from victory when Connor Cloyd's basehit scored the tying run.

The Devils have a big weekend as they host Pierce for two games Saturday April 26th at Story Field. Game time is 1 pm.  The teams then meet Sunday at 1 pm at Mt. Tahoma High School in Lakewood.
