Michael Forgione led the Devils with his glove and bat versus Green River
DEVILS COMPLETE SEASON SWEEP OF GATORS
The Lower Columbia College baseball team completed a season sweep over Green River with a 5-2 victory Monday April 21st at Story Field.
The Devils went 5-0 agains the Gators this season.
Hunter Wells (5-0) got the victory for LCC, giving up five hits and two runs in five innings of work.
Jacob Cogar allowed just two hits in two innings of scoreless relief.
Kyle Rossman pitched a perfect 8th.
Tyler Gulbransen collected his second save of the season with a hitless ninth including two strikeouts.
Michael Forgione led the offense with two hits, including a two run single in the second inning.
Justin Jacobs also had two hits and
Cooper Mickelson had an RBI.
The Devils are 10-2 in the West Division. Tacoma is due in for a single game on Thursday, and then will host Pierce for two on Saturday April 26th.
