It was a long afternoon into evening when the Devils played a double header with the George Fox JV's on Tuesday March 11th.

The Bruins snapped the Devils six game win streak with a 6-5 victory in a 16 inning game at Story Field. The game lasted just under four hours. George Fox scored a solo run in the top of the 16th to get the win.

The Devils and Bruins each had 13 hits in the game. Cooper Mickleson was 4 for 8 at the plate with two RBI's. Mason Dunning had two hits including a game-tying two run homer in the sixth inning. Makaio Mobbs also had two hits coming off the bench.

Seth Pedersen made his season debut by pitching five innings of relief. He scattered six hits and allowed just one run. Chase Heslep took the loss when he uncorked a wild pitch in the top of the 16th.

The second game also went into extra frames and wasn't decided until Mobbs slapped an RBI single in the bottom of the 10th. Dunning had another solid day at the plate, going 3 for 5 with two RBI's. Peter Lecce went 2-4 for LCC.

Dunning also collected the victory in the nightcap as he came on to pitch for the first time in his college career. He allowed one hit and no runs in his inning or work.
