Christian Carlson was the hero in the win over Clark.
DEVILS TAKE OVER FIRST, TOPPLE CLARK
Christian Carlson hit a three-pointer with 1.4 seconds left to give the Lower Columbia women's basketball team a 79-77 victory over #2 ranked Clark on Wednesday February 5th.
The Devils rallied down the stretch to take the victory against a Clark team that had won 15 straight games. It's the Devils who now have the longest active West Region win streak at eight.
Kaylea Knox led LCC with 21 points.
Haley Hibbs had 14 points and seven rebounds.
Arinesha Smith had 11 points, six rebounds and eight assists.
Carlson had 10 points, but none bigger than the three that gave the Devils the win.
LCC is now 10-1 in league play, a half game ahead of 9-1 Clark.
The Devils travel to Auburn for a game with Green River on Saturday February 8th. Game time is 3 pm.
