The Lower Columbia College women's basketball team capped off a perfect record at home when they defeated Centralia 66-49 on Wednesday February 19th.

Playing in her final game at the Devil's temporary home Mark Morris HS, Arinesha Smith had a big game with 18 points, nine rebounds and five assists.

Smith, Christian Carlson, Haley Hibbs and Haley VandenHazel were honored prior to the game on traditional LCC Sophomore Night. Each recieved flowers, gifts, comemorative posters and plenty of accolades.

Smith took center stage with a great game, but the Devils as a team helped solve Centralia's strategy of using multiple defensive schemes including a box-and-one and diamond-and-one.

The Devils have won 11 of 12 games and will be the West #2 seed into the NWAACC Tournament. LCC will close out the regular season with a 5 pm game Saturday at Grays Harbor. The game will be played at Aberdeen HS.

LCC will open NWAACC play late Saturday night on March 1st at the Toyota Center in Kennewick. LCC will take on the South #3 seed at 10 pm.
