Christian Parrott's lay-in puts the Devils in the Big Dance
DEVILS PUNCH TICKET TO NWAACC's, DOWN CENTRALIA
The Lower Columbia Red Devils are going back to the NWAACC men's tournament for a record 36th time after a 63-62 victory over Centralia on Wednesday February 19th.
Christian Parrott hit a lay-in with 1.8 seconds left to pull out the win. The winning shot came after Centralia's 3-ball with 10 seconds left gave the Blazers the lead. Head coach
Jim Roffler set up the game winner with
Michael Dupree making the bounce pass to set up Parrott's heroics.
Sherif Taha led the Devils with 24 points, hitting six of 12 three pointers.
After starting league play 0-3, LCC made the long climb back to get into the tournament. "I think we have the most room to improve from any team in the field", said Coach Roffler. "I'm looking foward to continue to get better and see what we can do in Kennewick."

Mana Niu, Parrott and
Wayne Tucker were honored prior to the game with comemorative posters, marking their time as Red Devils.
LCC will close out the regular season Saturday evening at Grays Harbor, 7 pm tip time. The game will be played at Aberdeen HS.
LCC will be the #4 seed from the West when they open up championship tourney action Saturday March 1st at the Toyota Center in Kennewick. The opponent is still to be decided. Game time will be 8 pm.
