Devils Play Hard Through Adversity

The results don't look pretty, but the fans of the Lower Columbia College women's soccer team respect the team's fight though adversity and a long losing streak.

The Devils dropped a pair of home matches on the challenging NWAC soccer schedule, 7-0 to Highline on Friday October 3rd and 7-0 to Bellevue on Saturday October 4th.

Alexandria Aspinwall continues to turn away a staggering number of shots as the Red Devil goalie. She had 15 saves against Highline and 22 against Bellevue.

The Devils continue to battle through injuries with three key players out and several more suffering through the back-toback NWAC grind.

Bellevue was more than up to the challenge on Saturday after playing Friday afternoon in Port Angeles and then a noon game in Longview the following day after a four hour road trip.

Through it all, the Devils are playing hard and are upbeat with each other.

Game three of a six game homestand is Wednesday October 8th when Grays Harbor come to Northlake Field for a 4 pm game. It will be ASLCC Spirit Day so come on out and support the Devils!
