Nine LCC women's soccer players were honored at thier final home game Saturday October 18th. Tacoma came away with a 2-1 victory at Northlake Field.
Maddie White's season had already ended due to injury, but the eight other sophomores all contributed to a solid Red Devil effort. Tacoma scored the game winner at the 67' mark. After a Tacoma goal at 12',
Irasema Alvarado scored at 30' to tie the game 1-1 at halftime. Alison Rose got the assist.
Sophomore
Alexandria Aspinwall had eight saves for LCC. She played her final home game along with
Jubilee Jefferson, Rose,
Layci Morales,
Jaclyn Huber,
Morgan Godinho,
Samantha Ramirez and
Jade Reid. All of the sophomores recieved a momento for their time at LCC.
The work is not done, however. After a bye on Wednesday, the Devils will travel to Highline for a 12 pm match with the T-Birds on Saturday October 25th.
