The inexperienced LCC men's basketball team found out how tough it is to win at the Highline domed gymnasium. A tough first half led to a 76-57 loss to the T-Birds on Saturday January 4th.

The Thunderbirds jumped out to a 41-23 lead at the half, but the Devils didn't quit as they were outscored by just one point in the second half.

Jeremy Burright continues to be the consistent leader in the early going of the league season. The freshman forward had 15 points and eight rebounds. Taylor Drey scored all of his 12 points in the first half. Michael Dupree had 10 points and six rebounds.

The Red Devils are 0-2 and 2-9 as they travel to Vancouver to take on the top ranked, 9-1 Clark Penguins on Wednesday January 8th. Tip off is 8 pm. The Red Devils will be wearing the home whites as Clark is holding a "black out" promotion. Red Devils fans are encouraged to wear white or red if they attend the game.
