DEVIS DROP LEAGUE OPENER
The LCC men's basketball team stuggled mightily in a West Region opening loss to South Puget Sound on Thursday January 2nd.
The Clippers defeated the Red Devils 65-59. LCC was ice cold in the first half and trailed at one point by 16 points.
Jeremy Burright led a second half rally, but the Devils got no closer than five points in the waning moments.
Burright scored 17 of his 19 points in the second half. He also retrieved seven rebounds.
Taylor Drey had 13 points and
Mana Niu added 10.
The Devils take a six game losing streak to Highline for an afternoon game Saturday January 4th. Tip off is at 2:00 pm.
