DEVILS DEFEND HOME COURT AGAINST RAIDERS
The LCC women's basketball team led by 10 at the half and led by 10 at the finish in a 78-68 victory over Pierce on Wednesday January 15th.
Sophomore guard
Christian Carlson had 17 points to lead the Devils.
Donniesha Webber contributed with 14 points, seven rebounds and two blocks.
Kaylea Knox provided offense of the bench with 14 points, hitting four of seven three point attempts.
LCC led 41-31 at halftime after both teams got off to a slow start. The teams each scored 37 in the second half.
The Devils shot 46% from the floor. LCC outrebounded the Raiders 47-41.
Lower Columbia is now 4-1 in West Region play, and 11-5 overall. The Devils head to Tacoma for a 3 pm start time on Saturday January 18th.
