DEVILS WIN LEAGUE OPENER
After beginning the season with 15 matches on the road, the LCC volleyball team opened West Region play at home.
It was nice to be home.
The Red Devils defeated Green River 25-19, 25-22, 25-21 Wednesday night September 25. The match was played at Mark Morris High School. The Devils will play their homes games at MM while Myklebust Gym is renovated this season.
Mckenna Hoyt had 11 kills and
Jessica Fischer had 24 assists to lead the Red Devils effort. "I'm very proud of the team", said head coach
Carri Smith. "We came out strong, played with confidence and were able to get it done after a hic-up in the final set."
It was the third straight win for LCC and the 4th in the past 5 matches.
LCC will hit the road Friday September 27 as they take on Pierce in Lakewood. The match begins at 7 pm.
