DEVILS GIVE COACH ROFFLER WIN #475
The Red Devils came up with the first victory of the young season with a 78-74 win over the Portland Panthers Sunday December 8th.
Sherif Taha scored 22 points to lead the way. Austin Trafalet added 15 points and
Jeremy Burright had 13 points and 9 rebounds.
The Devils went on a 14-0 run in the second half, but the talented Portland team came back to make it a close game down the stretch.
The victory was the 475th for
Jim Roffler as the LCC men's coach. Roffler also had 26 wins as the coach of the LCC women's team in the mid 80's.
LCC will take part in the Dale Bates Tournament in Eugene beginning Friday December 13th. The Devils open with Umpqua at 8 pm Friday.
