DEVILS GETS BLITZED IN SECOND HALF
It was a nightmare second half for the LCC men's basketball team against Spokane Saturday December 14th.
Up just one at the half, the Sasquatch outscored LCC 66-41 in the second half and went on to a 105-79 victory in the semi-finals of the Dale Bates Tournament in Eugene Oregon.
"We got hit in the mouth, and didn't fight back", according to head coach
Jim Roffler. "it was a very disappointing defensive effort."
Mana Niu led LCC scorers with 16 points.
Sherif Taha had 15 points on 5 for 8 shooting.
Michael Dupree had a solid game with 14 points and 8 rebounds from the point guard spot.
Christian Parrott had 13 points against his former team.
The Devils play the host team, Lane, in the consolation round Sunday December 15th.
