DEVILS SWEEP PAST PENGUINS
The Lower Columbia volleyball team blasted out to a 15-1 lead in the first set and then used the momentum for a three set sweep at Clark Wednesday October 3rd.
The Devils won 25-21, 25-19 and 26-24.
Mckenna Hoyt led the attack with 19 kills. Setter
Jessica Fischer had 35 assists.
Morgan Godinho had 18 digs.

Carri Smith was pleased to see her team get off to the fast start. "We took it to them early and stayed with it when Clark got it back together", she said. "It's always great to beat a rival on the road." Smith enjoyed a homecoming of sorts as she came to LCC from Skyview High in Vancouver and is a former player at Prairie High School.
The Devils are now 2-1 in West Region play. LCC will host Highline Friday October 4th in a 7 pm match at Mark Morris High School.
