The LCC soccer team dug a quick hole and were unable to find the net in a 6-0 loss to Highline on Saturday October 19th.

The T-Birds scored two goals in the first five minutes and that was all they needed to complete the shutout. The Devils trailed 4-0 at halftime, but had a better showing in the second half.

The Devils suited only 10 players due to injuries that have plaqued the second half of the season. Head coach Harlan Cruser told the Daily News, "the girls showed they really wanted to be out there in the second half."

Goalkeeper Alexandria Aspinwall had seven saves. Cruser cited Megan VanSoest, Layci Morales, Jaclyn Huber and Jubilee Jefferson for thier solid play.

The Devils (1-11 league, 2-15 overall) head to Bremerton Wednesday October 23 for a 2 pm game with the Olympic Rangers.
