DEVILS LACKLUSTER AGAINST TACOMA
The LCC volleyball team needed to raise its level of play against a fine team like Tacoma.
Didn't happen.
The first place Titans defeated LCC in three straight sets Wednesday October 16 at the Mark Morris Gymnasium. The set scores were 18-25, 19-25 and 20-25.
Red Devil head coach
Carri Smith told Daily News reporter Rick McCorkle "We were flat, it was difficult getting them focused and fired up for the match."
Baily Mckee led LCC with 10 digs.
MacKenzie Flatz had four kills and three blocks.
Jessica Fischer had 10 assists.
After the first round of West Region play, LCC is 3-4. The Devils break from the division to take part in the Green River tournament over the weekend. LCC returns to league action at Green River Wednesday October 23.
