1991 Lower Columbia College Volleyball team

The 1991 Red Devil Volleyball team is not remembered for its incredible size of imposing strength. But they are remembered as talented, smart and relentless.
The Devils went 53-4 on the season and captured the school's first ever NWAACC volleyball championship defeating host Mt. Hood for the title.

Setter Marcy (Watkins) Gilchrist was named the tourney MVP and she was joined on the all-tournament team by Peggy (Adams) Estes and Jennifer (Godinho) Hefley.  Head Coach Jocelyn Price was named the Coach of the Year.

The team included Monica Dailey, Alida Engblom, Stacey Doumit, Beth DeVries, Godinho, Watkins, Adams, Stephanie Patterson, Toni Pascua and Ami Ness.

Price counted on assistant coach Bill Tuggle to play a prominent role in leading the 1991 red Devils to the top of the NWAACC mountain.  Price was inducted into the LCC Hall of Fame in 2019.
